On Monday, April 2025, at 10 am, a beautiful ceremony called "Dars Masnavi" was organized at Darul Uloom Muhammadiya Mohi-ul-Islam Siddiquiya, Medina Nagar, Pulheer, Abbottabad. The ceremony was organized by the students' representatives, Tanzeem Bazm Siddiquiya and Bazm Muhammadiya. The program was presided over by Allama Sahibzada Muhammad Mumtaz Ahmed Naqshbandi, while the special address was delivered by Hazrat Allama Professor Dr. Noor-uz-Zaman Noori (Scholar of Rumiyat, Minhaj University, Lahore). Upon the arrival of the guest speaker, Allama Muhammad Atiq Yasir (Admin Siddiqui Educational Complex), Honorable Zia Al-Mustafa Sahib and all the staff gave a warm welcome. Along with the students and all the staff of Siddiqui Educational Complex, respected personalities of the area also participated in the session.In a very pleasant manner, the guest speaker, Mr. Allama Noor-uz-Zaman Noori, while introducing the Mathnavi and its author, said: His name is "Muhammad" and his title is "Jalaluddin", while his fame is as "Maulana Rum". He was born on 6 Rabi' al-Awwal 604 AH, corresponding to 30 September 1207 in Balkh. His lineage is traced back to Amir al-Mu'minin Hazrat Sayyiduna Siddiq Akbar (may Allah be pleased with him). His early education and training were provided by his father, Hazrat Maulana Bahauddin Muhammad Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him). He came to Baghdad with his father and during his stay here, he developed his knowledge in the Mustansiriya Madrasa established for the promotion and dissemination of Fiqh Arba'ah. Practical life When his father settled permanently in Konya (Turkey), he also settled here permanently. After the death of his father, he continued to teach in the madrasas of Konya. Hazrat Maulana Jalaluddin Muhammad Rumi swore allegiance to Hazrat Sayyiduna Shamsuddin Muhammad Tabrizi. He passed away on 5 Jamadi Al-Thani 672 AH, corresponding to 17 December 1273 AD. His holy shrine is in the city of Konya, Turkey.
Regarding the style of narration of Maulana Rumi (may Allah have mercy on him) in the Masnavi, the guest speaker said: The seeker has been guided to the path of truth in a very simple and common sense way. The stories and poetic style he presented for spiritual growth are commendable.
As a message, the guest speaker, especially addressing the students, said: Along with external knowledge, study the Masnavi for the refreshment of the heart and soul and become the trustees of the legacy of the ancestors. Make knowledge and action, asceticism and piety, and piety and purity your motto.
Regarding the spiritual patron of the institution, His Excellency Sheikh Al-Alam (may Allah have mercy on him), he said: "You have given the best commentary on the Masnavi in the world, and by giving the "Masnavi lessons", you have given the best interpretation of the truth and sincerity of the Taliban."
