We have established a fundamental institution providing education for the women in our society, as well as the men, as According to an authentic saying of our Beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH):
“Seeking knowledge is mandatory for every Muslim.”
In modern times, those who disapprove of girls’ education are not speaking from a sound religious perspective. There is nothing in Islam which prevents the education of girls- quite the contrary as we have seen. Even the Holy Prophet (blessings and peace be upon him) himself made arrangements for the education and training of women, where one day was particularly specified for women in the Prophet’s Mosque. An educated Woman can lead an Islamic life and can take care about Islamic perspectives in bringing up of their children for a sound pure Islamic society.
The spirit of Ghosia College for Girls is indeed the missionary spirit of Huzoor Sheikh-ul-Aalam, Hadhrat Pir Alla-ud-din Siddique DBA, who laid down the firm foundations of many colleges for women, realizing the need of development of spiritual insight and religious training of women folk. Their focus is on higher sense of morality, human values and dedication to Islamic culture and life. Their spirit is of kindled essence, free from stereotyped notions of religion and morality, delved deep into the essence of teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him).
Currently Siddiquia Girls College has Two Campuses at:
- Mustafa Abad Rara Muzaffarabad Campus
- Pattan Khurd Campus
Furthermore in the future, a hostel for girls is under consideration Insha’Allah.
